The City of Delano is seeking input through this interactive project map for updating Central Park and developing a new community park to ensure both parks provide the desired amenities for the community in a balanced and meaningful manner.
SELECT EACH CONCEPT ON THE SIDE TAB AND THEN ZOOM IN TO EACH PARK SITE TO VIEW CONCEPT PLANS
We need your feedback on the concepts! Don't forget to take the survey for each concept!
A total of three concepts have been prepared based on the community input provided. Each concept combines the two park sites together in an overall design approach and illustrates varying layouts for development at each park site. For instance, Concept 1 for Central Park may identify park elements that get moved into the New Park.
Let us know your preferences by adding comments to the concept plans and filling out the short surveys for each site concept. We will be collecting the input to determine which items rank the highest in order to create a preferred approach to each site. The preferred approach may include various elements from any of the three concept plans as a mix-and-match approach.
Here are the steps to drag and drop an icon on the map:
Click on one of the icons on the top of the page that best fits your input to place on the plan. A pop-up box will appear for you to fill in your name and email address. Select the “Remember” box to avoid having to enter your information each time you make a comment. Please note that your name and email is required but will NOT be displayed so your comment will remain anonymous.
Add your comment and ideas in the box provided and then press the “Add Comment” button. Comments will remain visible and can be read and liked/disliked by other users at any point but will remain anonymous. Please read the terms and conditions and the privacy policy carefully before you post your ideas and remember to be respectful at all times.
You may return to the project home page at any time by clicking the “Return” at the top of the left tab.
Thank You!
